Julio has done a fantastic job,
he went out to the rural areas,
he has met up with landmine victims,
and for the moment he is documenting
all their data and stories.
Julio will also be submitting a
full report as to proposed skills
development programmes
for these patients,
as he firmly believes we first
need to start with their
physical rehabilitation
and then help them to help themselves.
He will be developing a follow up programme
where the amputees
will have responsibilities
in reporting regarding their progress.
Julio will also be responsible for creating
and updating the database.
When offered help he kindly refused
as he rightly pointed out
"The Sole of Africa sent me
to school to learn computers,
I don't need help I want to do this by myself.
""Julio is in excellent spirits
and is truly enjoying to meet other
amputees to provide hope and inspiration to them.
He is proud of his job, and is excellent at it!
He told me that he so often these days forgets
he is disabled as he is living life to the full!!
Without limitations."
